By using EAC you accept these terms. They are short.

What this site is, and isn’t

EAC is an information site about UK taxis. We publish editorial articles to help readers understand how British taxi services work. We are not a booking agent, not a transport operator, and not affiliated with any specific taxi firm.

If an article references a particular operator, regulation, fare, or rule, that is editorial reporting on public information. It is not a recommendation, not an endorsement, and not a contract.

No warranty

We work hard to keep articles accurate and current. UK taxi licensing, fares, and rules nevertheless change without notice. Always verify critical information (fares, eligibility, licensing requirements) against the primary source — typically TfL or gov.uk — before relying on it for a decision that matters.

EAC publishes “as is”, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for any particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No liability

To the extent allowed by law, EAC is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from your use of the site, including any decision you make based on what you read here. If you book a taxi, miss a flight, lose luggage, or have a dispute with a driver, that is between you, the operator, and the relevant authority.
