EAC articles draw on public, citable material. The list below covers the sources we use most frequently. Specific articles cite their own sources at the foot of the page.

Primary regulations and licensing

Industry and trade

• Licensed Taxi Drivers’ Association (LTDA): trade body for London cabbies; their published statistics on driver numbers, vehicle electrification progress, and complaints.

Statistics

• TfL annual reports: vehicle counts, journey volumes, electrification progress for the black cab fleet.
• Office for National Statistics: tourism and transport data.

What we do not use

• Booking platforms (Booking.com, Suntransfers, Get-Transfer, etc.) — these are commercial intermediaries, not authoritative sources.
• Forum threads and unverified anecdotes — we may quote them with attribution as colour, but never as a source of fact.
• AI-generated articles on competitor sites — easy to spot, often wrong.
